Coordinating South Korea's first ever international christian student leadership summit.
Born and raised in Southern California, Eddie now serves as High School Campus Minister for Gyeonggi Suwon International School (GSIS) in South Korea where his wife Kim also teaches.
After completing ministry training in England, Eddie moved to South Korea in 2005 to help plant an international church, www.thenations.asia, in the city of Suwon. While serving on the church's leadership team he regularly wrote for Korea's largest English devotional, Living Life, which at that time had a readership of 30,000 people.
Since coming to GSIS in 2008, Eddie has developed and oversees the High School Campus Ministry program including: chapels, retreats, discipleship, and other spiritual life events. He established and leads the school's international missions program, VASE, which to date has taken over 500 students and teachers to 8 different nations. Within the school's Bible Department Eddie has co-authored two separate year long Bible curricula and served as Head of Department. Throughout his time in South Korea Eddie has worked with over 1,000 international students and hundreds of educators and ministry leaders. Eddie has facilitated numerous workshops for ACSI's International Christian Educator Conference, including sessions on student discipleship via social media and developing missions programs.
Eddie has a MA in Global Leadership from Fuller Theological Seminary and hopes to further his education in the years to come.
His favorite place in the world is Sagrada Familia in Barcelona and in a perfect world he would replace all his email correspondence with a sit down talk over coffee on his parent's porch.
